Default What is the problem?

Ok my coilpack stopped working. I took my car to autozone to get some codes read. They told me that I was misfiring in cylinder 2 and I had a bad MAF. I replaced the MAF with the TT 225, and I got a new coilpack. After I put them in my car was running fine. No ABS, no check engine, no traction light. I was boosting from 7 to about 15. This was the first time since I got a K04 that I had my car running fine. All of a sudden while I'm switching to fourth the car goes back to boggin like im misfiring again. I looked under the hood and my coilpack that I just replaced was a little pushed out. The car still isnt running right. What happening...is it just the simple task of getting the better coipacks with the screws or is there something more to this?

didn't you screw the new coilpack back down with the 5mm green socket head cap screws?

He didnt say what yr he has, but im guessing its a B6 with the push down coil packs. First check to make sure your plugs are torqued down right and not lose causing the coil pack to pop out. If thats ok thenyou can rig somehting like this up:

haha, i'll have to take a pic of my coilpak brace. a little simpler than the one above. but coilpaks popping up is really common.. all non AEB motors didn't get the bolt down type of paks
