First time I have ever taken off the belly pan to see what is up underneath my car. I saw this and it appears to be leaking. I was just confised becuase it doesn't quite seem to have the consistancy of engine oil, I HOPE it isn't a ATF line or something. Take a look and help me out!

The bottom of my car looks a little like that too. It almost looks like, on mine at least, that the oil went everywhere when they took off the oil filter or something.

Ok so should i be worried then? The plastic clamp thingy that i was taking the picture easily turned, but stopped once i got to a point. Is that a problem?

 

Take a picture with a wider angle....I can't see enough to see what thing is plugged into. AllI can tell is that it sits right above the belly pan support.

 

I already took the car off the stands and put everything back together again, but it goes to a large silver box type thing that is right behind the belly pan.

 

Hmm... It could be the oil pan? Not sure.

Oh and Alias747, when are you getting the inmotion chip?

I think that it is too far back to be the oil pan, I def could be wrong though!

Not getting chipped until next week unfortunately, like everything that could have possibly gone wrong this week did to stop me. So HOPEFULLY next week, oh and I still need to get a 710N somewhere, the one I bought from flip came and it was just a regular stock one. It had the same part number as the one I already had on my car.

 

LOL, that sucks, just go get one from the dealer. They are like $35 or something.

Yeah and it wil be a few weeks for me to. I am waiting on a play that I am filming and producing a DVD for. I will make about $800-$1000 off of it for 2-3 days of work. NOT BAD!!!!

aw right just go to the dealers and if you have a tooth ache then they will rip it out, look at the color of the substance ( its yellowish ) is it oil?? you tell me/ is there a leak from the steering rubber boot you tell me?? observation is 99% of the fact
