What is this? Something leaking (pics)

aw right just go to the dealers and if you have a tooth ache then they will rip it out, look at the color of the substance ( its yellowish ) is it oil?? you tell me/ is there a leak from the steering rubber boot you tell me?? observation is 99% of the fact

+1 take a wider angle pic.. Im thinking thats a wiring harness for the tranny, but i dont feel like getting under my car to be sure. I know the tip tranny wiring harnesses are round plug style like that. They are known to get crudded up with crap and cause shifting problems as a matter of fact. Id try and disconnect it and clean it.. It doesnt look like a fluid line, it looks like a wiring harness to me.

its the yellowish fluid that leads me to think its power steering fluid because that what colour it should be ( VW G 002 000 ) from the dealers and from the pictures it looks like a rubber bellow on the steering rack, my Apologies for not making it more clear
Honestly if that hose clamp turned easily replace it with a screw type and clean the area and then check later to see if its leaking somewhere else. I hate those speed clamps they give out too easy
now after a real good look its nothing to do with the steering rack cough its at the front of the engine[:-]and looks like an electrical plug with a protective water cover and that leads me to thing the fluid is running down the wire
