Ok to start off....


approx 1 week ago , my car was and has been , running like BUTTCHEEKS. It was always slow and I just figured the car is just like that cause its an A4 and unless i chip it and all this other stuff , it is going to stay like that.
I was driving and the damn cat ripped off the turbo and I freaked out. Thought it was going to be alot of money that I didnt have but luckily I got paid the next day and got it fixed for $250. After that was fixed , the car was running like crap again except WORSE. It would "buck like a bronco". Couldnt go passed 3500 rpms without jumping up and down. Next day got clean gas from HESS and it was Fixed. 1 day after that , I was driving to the bank and the car just stalled. When I tryed starting it , it sounded like it was chocking for air and CEL was on. The car would not move without stalling. I bugged out and went under the car with a flashlight , SAW NOTHING. I looked around on top and saw a hose off the bottom of the turbo. I put it back on temporarily to get home. Came off again when I got to my house. Woke up next day and got hose clamps , i clamped that hose on very tight and flush and the other end of it too.

I go for a ride , and WALLLAHHHHH , MAGIC! The car runs better then ever , its fast , no boost leak and its just normal. For the first god damn time the car is fast and normal. WOW . The whole time the boost leak was from that hose beiing half on. THE WHOLE TIME LOL.


moral of the story. I AM VERY HAPPY AND GOT A LOAD OFF MY BACK. WOW

I know you are exagerating to prove a point, but lets not get crazy... You need at least a chip to say that^ and truly mean it.
JK Im sure its a lot faster compared to what you were used to, sad as it may be...
Time to get a chip man!

that same hose blew off my turbo and I was flipping out! thought I was going to have to buy a new audi.

 

good to hear it fixed, by the way that color is badass, you should paint your lowers, if you could find a paint match

 

my 01 audi a4 did the same thing hose was half off when i bought it When i finally fixed the hose i thought my car was chipped but it actually was a sixteen second car instead of the 20 sec car with a boost leak
