Look, that is high tempered steel, you can see the scorch marks on a brand new converter. What im saying is you would have to put well over 800 ftlbs of force on it for it to crack it on both sides, it has to be poor build quality that made it crack like that. You could nuetral drop that piece of s*** with a GT28RS and it wouldn't crack it like that.

 

No im not the only owner. The car has had transmission problems since i bought it. I been taking it to VW dealer to get them fix it but they FUBARD it up worse.

I ordered a new transmission and a new torque converter. Hopefully this will solve my issues.

 

You should have gotten an upgraded tranny. Just a thought.

sell and buy a manual car... no automatic problems not being able to keep up with the power and abuse
