I looking to get a turbo timer for my car. I know you don't technically need one with a coolant-cooled turbo, but I would like to have one just to help it out a little bit. I wanted to know what the best turbo timer on the market right now is. I would like personal experience if possible. I've always had good experiences with Greddy, what do you guys think?

I didn't think our turbos were coolant cooled? Otherwise we wouldn't have to idle our cars for a min or two before turning them off...

We have oil based turbos.. right?

Even if the turbo is liquid cooled a turbo timer will extend the life of the turbo as well as other components in the engine... If you have a turbo, get one! I have considered one for a past car of mine that was really pumped up, just so it would have time to cool the oil once I parked it after a hard drive. I never got it because I ended up selling it.

I like Greddy's turbo timers as well as the rest of their products. I think our turbos are watercooled too.

Sorry....I didn't see that one. I didn't mean to post a question that was just asked. So does anyone know for sure how our turbos are cooled??
