Im only 21 and I have a 03 a4 and im trying to get a little more Hp and gas mileage what the cheapest betst way. I heard a K&N air filter for around $150 would be the best.

Please help me out

I don't wanna get into this again Cincy, but some of our smartest members feel MBC's make your car unreliable and are very iffy about using them. I know all has gone well for you, but I have a good feeling many have ruined there cars through these methods. Besides, why in gods name would 21 year old who apparently is low on cash want to risk ruining a perfectly fine car.

Im not even sure if he has a 1.8t, he didnt say if hes got the 3.0 hes not going to need diode mod.

 

I'll sell you a K&N filter for $125 - great deal...I also have.......new pollen filter for "genuine audi" OEM.....$75. lol

 

A K&N filter should cost you no more than $50 at any local auto store... FYI

 

Yea, you can get a K&N "filter" for no more than $50..maybe ur talkin about a K&N CAI...?

 

Sorry for the lack of info...Yea i have a 3.0 and i dont want to mess up my car but at the same time i want to increase gas mpg and hp the cheapest best method.

 

yea umm my evolution motorsports intake just made the diverter valvelouder and didnt really add that much power but i had a chip on there alreadyso maybe itd be different as a first new partbut id save ur money for a bit and get somethin worth it like exhaust with the least amount of back pressure possible if u have a turbo but if its a 3.0 this wont help ya as much i dont think
