My driver seat has a split in the Leather(ette)?

Has anyone dialed in the best way to fix?

I want to stop it before it gets much worse.

I'll post a pic if it will help determine a solution.

A pic would be good. I usually take anything like this to my local trim guys and let them repair it for me. Their are kits available but not sure on how well they hold up or how good they will look.

 

I had the same thing happen on my 03.
The dealer repleaced the seat cover.
I dont think you can repair it though .
Its just going to get worse

 

yea your local interior shop would be your best bet

Yeah, go see your local trim shop and see what they say. Try and few shops just to get a good idea.

have a professional do it. It can be repaired. I have seen an A4 leatherette seat fixed and it looked just fine. Cost was about 40 bucks.

 

how much would it be to have a a seat recovered?
