I have a similar problem on my 01 A4. My split is on the side bolster on the bottom of the seat. I'm wondering how much it could cost to recover the side bolsters in suede or alcantara or something nice and clingy like those things. That would make the seat both comfortable and much better at holding you in place in the corners. Any ideas?

Man... You really dont need to resurect old *** threads to ask a question/make a statement. In your case, it might be wise to just write down all the questions/concerns you have and start a new thread.
The problem is, if everyone brings an old thread back to life to ask a question/make a comment, they tend to filter out newer and more important threads that need attention. Gather your thoughts and just start a new (single) thread about whats on your mind, etc.
