Whats the deal w/ the S-Line
I just purchased a 2004 a4 S-Line. I looked up other s-lines on the internet and they all seem to have the factory body kit. My car just has the sport package w/ the "S-Line" logos. Is there any other s-lines like mine or whats the deal. Also what are the specs on my engine.
The engine specs should be the same. I believe the biggest difference with the S line is lower ride height, possibly different wheels, the badges, and probably a recalibration of shock/spring rates due to the lower ride height. As for what your engine specs are, that depends - what engine do you have? 1.8/2.0T or a V6, and which V6 is it (there may only be one for that year, I don't know)? The bodykit may not be an actual part of the S line package. It's probably a dealer option, and the dealers most likely took the liberty of fitting most of the S line cars with the kit to increase the sales price of the car.
its a 1.8t but but there different version ofpower for this motori think. Also the previous owner said he went to the dealer and had it tuned for economy. supposedly they can tune it to sport or economy??
Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but...The b6 has the ultrasport package, only the b7 with the 2.0T engine has the S line package. I've never heard of any sport or economy tuning on any A4.
