RE: Whats needed to run 12 sec in 1.8t ??
If you want a fast and reliable daily driver then you shoulg go for a S4. (~240Hp & ~270TQ )
the list of mods should be as folows:
Cold Air intake ~10-11hp
Downpipes ~25hp & ~40tq
Exhaust ~5Hp & ~10Tq
Chip ~60Hp & ~110Tq
Total ~340hp & ~410Tq
These numbers are theoretical only compiled of AWE Tunnings Site.
Also cost would be around $3500+ shipping if you install it yourself
Next step up would be intercooler upgrades at $1400 which would allow you to push the twins to their full potential and most likely hit the 400Hp mark while still maintaining a civilized ride
then again what do i know since im hede down pretty much the same route :P
Wanted to buy an A4 and ended up buying a salvage S4.
heading down the same path as i laid out BUT im upgrading manifolds and twin GT28RS Turbos with stand alone management

RE: Whats needed to run 12 sec in 1.8t ??
Yup.
its only limited by the clutch and fueling.
i hope someone designs a nice twin or tripple plate clutch pack for the 1.8 and 2.7 engines so power can be put down reliably and not having to worry about the harsh engagement.
unless you guys know a clutch kit that has the factory feel and can handle 800+ Ft/lbs of torque

LOL my buddy has a neon, its not an srt4 but its pushing way more power than the srt4 anyway he has to have those big ol ugly wide slicks on the front to get traction and it looks ridiculous...
