Whats this noise?
I've got a sort of knocking or rattling noise that i can hear when im driving and hit a bump in the road, it sounds like its coming from the front right of the car.
My thoughts were shock absorber but im not sure. Im pretty new to audi's so im not sure what else around the front right wheel areait could be.
any ideas, thanks guys

Well, "knocking" and "rattling" are two different sounds, which is it?
Going over a bump, and hearing a clunking or knocking sound means your tie-rod ends are likely worn.
If you have any play in the steering at all, then this is for sure the cause of your noises.

Need a better description of what the noise sounds like, and any other symptoms or information.
It could be control arms, sway bar links, tie-rod ends, cv joint, wheel bearing, depending on the noise / symptoms.

I put my money on control arm ball joints (not the bushing which causes squeaking).
When the ball socket gets worn and stretched, the ball end of the arm knocks around in the socket when you hit bumps.

car steers fine and does'nt pull to either side. steering wheels sits straight when driving and their isnt any play in it.
its more a knock knock knock sound not loud but you can hear it clearly
