whats the point in debadging?

whats the point in debadging you car? i thought it looks good to have them...

It also gives a stealth look...makes people wonder whats under the hood. Then again, I'm almost ready to put the 1.8T back on so people know they were beat by a four cylinder!

For the same reason people buy different wheels, or tint the widows, or put on a lip spoiler, or alter the grill.
Personalizing the vehicle to your liking.
Most of us think debadging makes the car look cleaner, more sexy, less clutter.

ya dude it gives it more of a stealth look, completely... especially when lowered, it just makes it look cleaner all around. trust everyone that has done it, it looks better.
