I have an 2007 A4 with 235/45/17 tires on it and I was looking for a second set a wheels for it for winter time. I was wondering what the stock offset was, most aftermarket wheels I see have an offset of 35mm, I think the stock is 45mm. Would the difference cause a problem with the outer edges of the tire to rub on the fender? And can anyone suggest a place to get good priced wheels for winter use? I live in upstate NY...

tirerack.com is a good place. they have package deals with wheel and tire. and the 35mm is fine if ur gonna get 17s or 18s. wea in upstate u live?

 

If I'm not mistaken the stock B5 rims were 38mm offsets.

 

haha, that's the bolt pattern. not the offset..

for what i've seen, the stock offsets are 45mm.. anything in a 32-35 would work for an aftermarket wheel
