Wheel Question
This question is for the guys with their wheels painted flat black with the rattlecan. Are they hard to keep clean and scratchless? i heard that because they are Fl. black they scratch a lot easier. Is this true?
It's probably true because someone painting a wheel gloss black is probably clearcoating that paint as well and getting extra protection from it. Have your wheels powdercoated flat black instead of rattle can painting them and avoid the headache. They might be a little more difficult to clean as well, since without a clearcoat you have to be more careful what you use to clean them - soapy water solution with a wash mitt would be fine, but a wheel brush probably would scratch the finish.
