I'm planning to replace my stock wheels and tires.

Currently I have 205 60R15s, 35 offset PCD 5x112 running on Dunlop LeMans Tires.

How wide can I safely go without adding spacers?

I'm considering getting Audi TT wheels which are 225 55R16s. Will these fit on my car? I have a 1997 A4 1.8T FWD.

people usually get 8.5 wit a 35 off set

 

teh 225 is deff do able ppl on here go 245 or larger for width, but you nay want to get wider wheels too if your increasin the size of your tires

 

I've have 225X35X19 for about three years now and havent had any problems at all. The rims definitely make the car.
