wheel spacers
Hey guys..
I want to put a set of wheel spacers on the rear wheels of my 2005 B6 A4. I want to fill out the rear wheel wells, without rubbing. What size and where should I purchase them?
thanks,
chris

Nice looking car. With stock 5-spoke 17" (assuming that's what you have and not replicas), the offset is a whoping et45. As such, you can go even 15mm if you'd want, but I'd stick with 10mm or 12mm. My wheels, after spacers, are et34. But being 19" and running 245/35 tires on coilovers, I have more of a chance to rub than you would.
ECS has them (ecstuning.com) but I've always had bad luck with them. Others like them, though.
If you can, try and get hubcentric spacers. They aren't easy to find in that large of a size, but if you can, get them. Or else you may have some nasty vibrations if wheels are off at all.
Be sure and get longer lugs, too. Stock wheels are ball-seat lugs. Stock are 28mm length. I'd look at getting 40mm lugs if you can.
