this is from an 07' S6 ...these fogs look SICKKK..is there any way to mock up a B5 version just like these??

 

I was going to do the same. Someone had found some on ebay that could work a few months ago but never posted back on how the rig job went.

 

damn if someone knows what the deal is with those fogs, fill us in !!

 

its probably cecause when he got his package in and opened it he found 2 2ft pieces of rope light and some duct tape

I don't see why you couldn't do it with 20 ultra bright LEDs, 2 pieces of plexi glass and some sort of reflector in that shape...

I was planing on doing something like this (with LEDs) anyway, but i was going to put them into a round shape in more of a stock position. Perhaps a rectangular shape is in order instead.


I don't know whether the ones in the pictures are LEDs, but I'm a fan of anything that makes a very specific temperature light at high output with low power draw and that most likely won't burn out.
