ok so, i think i fgound the upgrade i was looking for (by the way, i just hijacked this thread)
this is description i found:

so i assume that takes the car from non HID and converts it to having HID in one package. right?
and is 1300 for this kind of kit a normal price?

I think the price is a little high.. but you are probably paying for convienince.

get E-code HID housings and get a OEMhid kit... should run what? ... 800$?

 

There's a package called "Audi A4 B6 Valeo ECE/Ecode D1S Package" that runs for $419 on the oemhid.com site.

Each package includes:

(2) OEM Audi A4 Valeo D1S ECE / Ecode Xenon Projector
(2) OEM Philips D1S bulb
(2) OEM Osram D1S ballast
(2) OEM Osram shielded harness

 

those dont look very easy to install. has anyone tried this package?
