Default Where did my power go???

Aright i installed 2 12 inch infinity subs into my younger brothers audi and i did it the same exact way i did my audi. Instead of running the power form the battery i ran the wire from the pannell thats jsut above the left leg of the driver theres a metal strip with about 6 bols that u can atach the the power to too i picked a bolt and attached the cable. the stereo ran great for aobut a day then last ntie my brother was bumpin the system when all of a sudden he lost power. I jsut assumed he blew the fuse either on hte amp or the power cable but both checked out. So i checked the bolt that orginally was supplying power but now even when the car is running doesnt have any power. The only other that hass apppeared to have gone wrong is the wiper and washer fuse was blown. I did the intall on my audi the same exact way and havent had any problems at all. Any ides Y that would sjut all of a sudden loose power n not work at all?

You mean there is no power going to the x75 post at all??

I would suggest you do not use the x75 post for anything above simple dash mounted items or lighting, etc.
Check the connection of the small wire to the battery. There is a secondary cable that goes from the battery to that post.
