Default Where does this Vac Line go?

Anyone know what this Valve is and why there is a screw plugging it? Trying to figure out where the vac line that should be there is supposed to go...anyone have an idea? It is located under the Intake Manifold and above the Alternator. Thanks.

Front View (with screw in one side):

Back view (with 2 vac lines running in):

It has a check valve on it so it should be attached to something important. If its under the intake manifold it probably was originally attached underneath it. See where the other side of the line comes out.

Here you go...in the first pic, you can't see the valve, or screw b/c it's hiding under the manifold, but it receives this vacuum line on the right side:

Here is abetter view showing the screw-plugged left end going to???:

I would check underneith the manifold (if you havnt yet) and see if there is a open nipple. If you have a boost guage, what is your vacuum at? Also, where is that hoses going to?

No boost gauge...i'll have to look under the manifold tomorrow and see if I can find something. I wish I knew someone around here with a 1.8T...so I could compare.

that vac line connected to the front of the intake manifold should be going to the DV. Looks like a boost guage was once installed then removed, so the line that was tapped in for the boost guage is now plugged up.
