well some of the parts were removed when i did my valve cover gaskets, so they were cleaned outside of the car.
but the rest all i did was cover up my electrical connections and intake. then i sprayed a engine degreasre all over the parts, i really smothered them. it took me two cans. then i let it sit for about 15 minutes and hosed everything off (with a sprayer but not at full strength). after that i ran my car at idle for another 10-15 minutes until everything was dry.
