You're not going to find it on that tag. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be hand written. And I've always been told it's on a sticker by itself. So check EVERYWHERE in the truck or on any paperwork you might have (apparently sometimes the sticker will still be on the backing because they never applied it.) My car didn't have the number written on it anywhere and the card in the radio manual that had it was removed by the previous owner.
Oh, and Audi service managers are real dicks about this from my experience. They want to charge you a crapload of money (100+) just for the code. They claim the only way they can get it is to hook up a computer to the car. Audi of America made that rule though because they used to just look it up in an online database. But they still can as well but they'll tell you to your face that it's "impossible" without hooking it up to a computer (I hate it when people lie to my face like that.)

I don't know if you service your car alot at the dealer, but I did with my 1.8T, and they would do little things like re-aiming the headlights/radio stuff etc. for free.... It doesn't hurt to go there and ask?
I look in the trunk for my radio code on a sticker and found 3 4-digit code one starts with 0040, 6948 and 1585, when I press the bottoms yo enter the code it shows 1000 so I am assuming the 1585 should work but doesn't and I don't want to go the stealership because i am mechanic and I know how to work around a radio, please if someone has an idea how the sticker that contains the code looks like i will be so grateful.
