Default where in the world to find OEM engine cover?

Hello,

I just joined this community a few days ago, great forum you guys have here.

I've searched this forum and the whole internet only to come back empty handed. I bought my 2001 A4 1.8T Quattro last week (I'll post some shots later) and the engine cover is cracked, as well as the splash guard (or whatever it is called, the part underneath the engine).
Does anyone know where I can find these for purchase (online), or is an Audi dealer the ONLY way to go?

Thanks in advance for the help fellas.

P.S.: I also checked all the links in the sticky threads here already, and nothing.

I would check junk yards and what not for the parts, it will be cheaper. AS for online http://www.germanpartsonline.com/ has a lot of odd parts but rather expensive.

The splash guard you speak of is cracked on mine also but still bolts on. So I just leave it like that. Might not be worth replacing if it still does the job and nobody can see it.

Good luck! and Welcome

Thank you Jovian.
I did look at that site before, they don't carry them.
And you're right, you can't see the cracks underneath, it was just buggin me a little.
It's the engine cover that I'm more concerned about... even though no one can see that either, it's under ther hood lol.

If anyone has a source I'd appreciate it.

What are you looking to spend?? I found a few, some are carbon fiber, most are about $200.

Jestnoment, neither one of those places have them.

quattrosedan, I've searched e-bay before. There's one from a 2000 A4. Is that identical to what I need? (2001)
