I was looking for a spot where the sirius satellite antenna would enter the trunk of my 99 A4 (edit: from the outside) but I can't seem to find one. I searched these forums but couldn't find related info on this.

For those of you who have done this already, how did you run the antenna cable inside the trunk?

The loc-tec way in under the floor mats - pull out the bottom rear seat (is should just pop right off) and run into the trunk...

 

No, I mean from the outside of the car into the trunk (just edited my original post to clarify this). The antenna has a magnet and it sticks on the roof, towards the rear of the car. The wire is then routed and hidden in the rear windshield's rubber seal and then somehow it needs to go in the inside of the car (the trunk).

I looked around but couldn't find a grommet or anything else like it. There's gotta be a way though. Probably some way that I missed.

 

oh - i just had mine on (on my last sedan) on the top of the trunk - fine reception there

 

Yeah, that's another option. Do you know how the wire was routed into the inside of the trunk?
