lately when i drive early in the morning when it is pretty cold (5 to -5 celcius) the engine makes a sound like somone who is trying to whistle but cant quite hold it(an external noise not the normal spooling). it does it between 2 and 3k rpm. doesnt seem to be any difference in power. i just installed a boost gauge but im on night shift so i wont be able to check that out till late tomorrow night since it only does it when its cold.
ive got a '98 1.8t and seem to get just over 5 psi ive read that i should be getting around 6 or 7 and was wondering if it could be a leak when the pressure builds. ive ordered a forge dv but it will take a week or 2 for shipping
any ideas?
