who has installed short throw?

install is a piece of cake. Just make sure you have a good beefy set of snap ring pliers.

Would drilling a hole higher in the stock shifter work the same as a "short shifter"? I know that some of these short shifters just shorten the length of the stick above the pivit point which puts the **** really low like a little nub.

which ebay one is the "good" one? I've read of people saying to get a specific one. Links perhaps?

Also, i'm correct to assume that there is a different one for the "push down" reverse, aka 96-99 shifters... right?

This is the 1 that i just bought last night. It looked like the best one for the $$ and the seller has got a good rep. And yes there is a different one for the "push down" reverse and also angled shifter or straight.

i installed a B&M short shifter in my car and it was a snap but the insturtions that came with it where not much help since it is for about 5 different cars but the sites was stright forward

its cool. I did the DIY short throw. it makes a difference but not as much as a short shifter I'm sure. my car just shifts so smooth the last thing I need is for me to screw something up and hate the feeling.
