Alllongitudes use the ME7.1 and the transverse cars use the ME7.5 from what im finding.

Dont know. Someone with a B5 and a cable should download both lemmi and unisettings and give it a shot.

The ecu is different in 00/01 B5's compared to 97-99 B5's. DBW is the cause. Thats the reason you cant use lemi.
