Borla for the 1.8T and magnaflow for the 2.8. if you do the opposite, the outcome wont be the same.

you want at least 2.5" on a turbo car.... 2.25" is what civic people do, lol...

i would probably go 3"... it would really not hurt much down low but up top would be felt...

i think a chip over looks an exhaust on these cars a lot... a full turbo back exhaust on turbo cars gives it a quality 20-25hp... im talking downpipe, hiflo cat, cat back... that should be the second thing done right after a chip and DV. check ebay, MEGAN downpipes and exhaust systems became FAMOUS on ebay and I know from first hand experience I have never heard a better sounding exhaust on a DSM than a full 3" turbo back megan kit, and I have heard over 100 exhausts on DSM's...

I seriously just wanna buy a 1.8 and swap out the wood grain and chrome window trim and start modding the hell out of it... ughhh but the reliability issues.......

check ebay, theyre cheap and make good power, im not lying.

Hardly any reliability issues, its no worse than your car if you buy a 1.8T that was correctly taken care of.

And Wood Grain = Old man, imo

My friend had a 1.8T and he tried to take care of it soo much, but here and there it wouldnt start. He ended up letting it go, cuz he was spending way to much money on repairs.

What are expected gains with a Borla for a K03-K04 chipped?

And what would the Downpipe add?
