Will Rims make my car.....
Yeah as long as you keep that outer diameter the same you are good to go (haha i just realized thats from the taco bell commercials). Thats why the wider the wheel the thinner the tire.
It depends. If you have an 18 with skinny spokes it will be easier to spin then a 17 that looks like a plate just b/c of the weight. If my 18"s are drastically slowing my car down, Im scared to see wht it would be like on 16's
I think it all depends on the rims. Me and a co-worker had the same car's except he had (18's, cai & exhaust) and i was stock (16") i would walk him all day. Then when i puton thek&n and exhaust it wasn't even a race.
I have a question, I am think of getting 18s for my A4 '98 as well, and I heard if you switch rims size your speedometer will not read correct. Ex: lets say your going 60 it will read 65 is this true THANKS!
