Default Window Issue =(

Hey

I have a 96 2.8 fwd.My controls have seemed to swap! This is the driver door controls. The driver window switch now controls the passanger window and vice versa ( passanger switch controls the driver window).

This is only in the driver seat with control problems and just these two switches.

Any idea or is this the audi plauge of electric problems i was warned about.

did u have to door panel off and somehow mixed up the connections b4 putting it back together? if so just swap them around, if not, then how would they just swap just like that, kinda strange. i would just swap the connections on the switchs.

I don't see how they could have been "switched". there's only one switch on the passenger door, so there isn't any wires running to the driver's side regulator from that side of the car. it's possible that the switch for the driver's window could be swapped to operate the passenger's window, but not vice versa. I'd say you have an issue more involved than just swapping of wires.

They are switched. I have no clue how I did not swap wires but i remember reading there is only one plug into the driver side window control switch(4 switches)

Can anyone confirm this?
