I believe alignments run about 80 dollars in the states. I just put some studded Hankook tires on my car. Got them for about 75/tire.

PM me or something... remind me. I'll call a couple tire places that know me and see if I can get you something.

I paid 60 for my allignment after I did my coilovers... Hmm!

But yeah, just lemme know what size you need, and I'll make a couple calls. I have tomorrow off.

Since my B7 is new I'll probably leave the OEM Continentals on it this winter, just to see how they do during one of our typical "occasional" New Jersey winters. From my experience with winter tires on other vehicles, I wouldn't recommend the Blizzaks. They're more talk than walk in my experience and the local tire guy said pretty much the same thing when I asked him about it. Continental's winter tires are really great, I've owned various examples. I've heard the Nokians are really good too, but I've never owned a set.

My tires were 590 a piece regularly... I got them for 180.

That's a good deal.

So you're gonna put snows on your stock alloys? Then are you snagging summers in spring?

Blizzaks are a stellar tire... I dunno what he's talkin about! Maybe they make more money on other brands... :P
The WS-50's were amazing, anyways.

Continentals sorta suck IMO... they are nice tires I guess, perform well enough... but have the lifespan of a housefly.

I am pretty sure you can get 18" snow tires... Actually I am positive you can. Better off to get a set of steels though.

EDIT: and I drive nokians right now... they are really good. My dads b6 is rippin' pirelli snows, and I snagged michelin arctic alpin's for my moms golf (these are technically an ICE tire -- the golf stops better than both the audis in the snow!)
