Wiper Problem!

Default Wiper Problem!

Got in my car today wipers dont do **** wont turn on what could it be? ne one

you're in Buffalo... they MAY be frozen to the window. maybe the wiper motor died. maybe the teeth are stripped. maybe blown fuse.

does it SOUND like they are TRYING to do anything?

more than likely the fuse blew or the motor failed. it could also be the switch on the steering column tho. like he said, turn them on and try to hear if they are trying to work or not. if no sound at all from the motor, check the fuse. if the fuse is good, its more and likely the motor itself died. if you pull the motor out (there is a link on audidiy.com to tell you how to do that) then look at the electrical connector..it only has 2 wire....a power wire and a ground wire. if you apply 12 volts directly from you battery and provide a ground as well directly to the motor, see if it turns on. if not, it needs replaced. hope that helps

Lol so I got back into my car after classes, and wammo they started working again I was like what WTF lol o well least I didnt have to sit outside and freeze my *** off trying to fix the damn problem. Thanks guys
