When the wipers are in the "off" position they wont stop wiping! I've checked the fuse and the relay is switching ok. Sometimes when the wipers do stop they park in the wrong position (i.e not horizontal at the bottom of the wind screen). If I select the "intermitent" or faster wipe modes they work ok?

Any suggestions you can offer would be greatly appreciated

 

Maybe a messed up wiper relay?

 

Bad wiper stalk?
