So im having trouble finding what exactly the wire is and what the part number would be? There are two wires from what I can tell that run above the two fans in the engine bay front. One is a thicker and one is a thinner one. The thinner one came loose and the fan caught it and needs to be replaced. I honestly don’t know what it connects to one end so im having problems finding the part number for it. It looks like a power cable because the other end of it leads to a power connecter right below the hood latch. So its between the hood latch and the two fans and then runs above the two fans to somewhere.

If nobody knows by tomorrow I can get pictures to try and help, its too dark out right now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and sorry I don’t have too much information to work with.

 

Two i can think of is the hood release cable. And the DV hose that goes to the top of the DV. The DV house goes on the front port of the intake mani.

 

Yeah I beleive that ticker one is the hood release cable. I have had to replace that tube from the manifold to the DV before it rottet out on me but this is a differnt one. Im gonna go get my camera to take a picture.

 

I think there is a sensor located near there.

Just disconnect it, and splice some new wire in place and solder it.

You can always just wrap it good with electrical tape its not too bad.

It doesnt look like any of the wires were accually severed only shaved. So I used some high teperature electrical tape to cover the areas that got shaved and then the sleeve:

I still want to find the part number and what it does incase my tape job fails, so any help would be great =)
