Working on audi for first time...any advice

Default Working on audi for first time...any advice

Im about to put a set of front brake pads and 4 new speakers (4" door and 6 1/2" rear) in my 99.5 A4..and tips on removing interior pannels or on the brake job? thanks

Take it slow and be prepaired for suprises. Do you have a manual?

the brakes are easy... the door panels should be fine but take it out slow beacuse it has thouse really crappy plastic clips well break off and its a pain in the *** to get new ones and put them in and working...

test fit your speakers before securing them in and wiring them up, to make sure they dont interfere or hit anything when you put the panels back on (front and back)

got the front speakers finished and all the wiring ran from the doors to the headunit. not im starting on the rears, i forgot to buy the speaker brackets for the back, im going out to look for some now. whats the easiest way to run the wires from the rear decks to the headunit? thanks

yes i have a manual

whats the easiest way to pull the lower door interior trim off so i can run the speaker wires?

the whole door interior panel comes off in one piece. its a couple screws and some clips

so the plastic trim along the bottom of the door sill that hides the edge of the carpet is one piece. also i have this little button on the plastic by the bottom of the drivers seat on the plastic inbetween the front and rear door i pressed it but couldnt tell what it did. any ideas???
