Working on audi for first time...any advice
it deactivates the motion sensors in your car i believe. they reactivate every time you restart your car i believe. the option is there incase you wanna leave your pet/girlfriend/anything else that might move around in the car while your gone that might set it off. warn your girlfriend about it, and tell her if she doesnt sit absolutely still the alarm will go crazy...hilarious to watch them sit there
o no, i thought you meant the actual door panel. down by the sill is just held in by clips. maybe a screw or two. a bentley manual from autozone will really help out. and that button activates/deactivates the motion sensors.
the door sills are pretty straight forward, there are two screws in the kick panels, take them off, then just rip them bitches up (using moderate force)
iirc there is another screw near the back seat

i ran mine on the passenger side under the door sills. didnt even need to take them off, just popped them up under there. that way i knew a screw wasnt going to rip through it when i put it back in. make sure you keep your power wires away from your signal wires because if not you can get signal interference in your speakers.
thanks guys, i think im going to run the power wire down the pass side an the rca's up the middle
side note. wheres a good place to get OEM or similar floor mats, ive searched and all i can find are those cheesy diamond plate ones (puke)
