Worlds fastest a4 -can anyone beat this?
Ok, I happend to catch this, they're still at it....

Details:
In the summer of 2005 on it's first trip to the dragstrip, this car went 11.91 @115 mph. At the time it had a completely stock AEB 1.8 liter engine. Stock cams, internals, everything. The car was also stock weight of course, around 3370lbs of so. This was after dynoing about 380 whp on high octane fuel. It also ran 12.5 with lower boost and 94 octane. At the time the mods were; -3071 t3 flanged turbo -Our equal length stainless manifold -Tial 38mm external wastegate -60 lb high impedance injectors -Tapp Auto custom software in stock ECU -front mount intercooler -3 inch exhaust system -larger maf housing -fuel pump upgrade -clutch upgrade That was it, otherwise stock
On may 6th, the Audi ran 10.82@ over 130mph, Making it the worlds fastest and quickest A4. It is also the fastest 1.8T powered car still running a bosch ecu.

I think the only person on track to beating that is Mike Hood on audizine, he's running a GT35 with a whole heap of 034 parts and standalone, dynoed at 550+whp.
Tapp's car REALLY needs some suspension, I bet if it had some stiffer springs so it didn't lurch so bad, it'd get way better times.

He ran 12.2 with his GTI 1.8T last night at the track. I know this because he is my tuner... he installed my K04 and i have his Eurodyne tuning.. he's a crazy smart guy!
