i cant amagine how $$ it must be to have cars like this, my buddy has a pro streert supra dumps 2k a month into it and its not done yet. 100K setup gonna hit 1600HP to the wheels @ 50PSI. im alset with spending that kind of monoey on my car

 

Lucky for him he does all the work at his own shop and all the chip tuning himself.. all it costs is parts :P lucky guy!

 

I currently own this car. It should be up and running very shortly.

The dealership ran the car with regular gas and melted cyl2.

the new motor is now at the machine shop and should be ready in about 2 weeks. I have a buildup thread on vwvortex in the b5 forums if your interested.

I'm keeping it 2.0l.. Chris built the 2.0l before he sold it.

Garrett gt35r .63
stainless equal length ex manifold (getting ceramic thermal coating along with turbine housing)
750cc injectors
4" MAF no MAP
Custom tune from Tapp auto
modified intake manifold
3" turbo back exhaust
tial 38mm wastegate
greddy bov
Tapp auto FMIC

Things to get,

Motor mounts from boost factory
all new exterior accessories i.e water pump, belts tensioners (keeping a/c )

Plans for next year,

Full ferrea valvetrain
Port and Polish
Custom intake manifold
Water/Meth injection

With this and getting chris tapp to re tune the race program It should bring the car over 600whp

I will be daily driving this car in the warmer 3 seasons on the pump gas program that makes around 400whp

you should go to a gt37r turbo and see what you can do. also are you really running a maf or did you get that backwards?
