Of course it is worth it...

If
- you don't need your A4 back seat
-you like a way cooler car
-you want the same horsepower (because the 2000 1.8t is gonna be the 180 horsepower)
-it is silver, red, or that dark green
-it has those baseball seats
-well no those baseball seats look like they suck
-Oh and so worth it if it is the convertible
-You said quattro right because taking the convertible mudding (off road mud pits) would be incredible. Right now I do it in my wagon and it is pretty good. (with the sunroof open)

Well even if they are asking 32000 for it, it is a 2000 you should do. And if it is an even trade, well now somebody is getting ripped off, and it is definitely the TT owner heh heh!!! *Sorry I forget you cannot see me smiling and pointing*

No.

Both the 180HP and 225HP are 1.8T's

He meant because it's a 2000... the 225 hp TT didn't come out until 2001.

Sorry I was just goofing off... like with the guy who asked if he should put a corvette engine in his a4... sure! It totally sounded like an effective use of tens of thousands of dollars. Well that and I wanted to see pics.

Hey do what ever you want right?

Oh and yes I was pointing out that 2000's only offered the 180 hp.

I really do think that he should pay 30-40K for his 2000 TT though. By the way has anyone followed any of the rest of this particular user's posts? They are all pretty funny.

(personal interpretation because these posts were with in a few weeks of this post)
One of them was that he was going to get rid of his car because he could not figure out how to turn off the "OEL" service light that flashes for 1 minute in the odometer when the car needs an oil change.

One of them was that he drove a friend somewhere, then back home 200 km each way (or something) with an ignition switch out and the engine cutting off on every bump the whole way home (or something like that)---EDIT Sorry, it was that the car would not start for a half hour every time it cut off but after a half hour it would go----. Who does that to a car? That is like knowing there is no oil but still driving to the corner store.
