Default Is it worth it to fix it?

So i have been having lots of problems with my car, My dash LCD is out, i need a 90k mi tune uo, my brakes are making my steering twitch, both side of my bumper have popped out of their clips, my washer fluid is leaking plus my bumper is a lil messed up so the drivers side lower grill has falen out somewhere and the lil black part at the bumper of the bumper has melted andthe tabs no longer hold it in place. I talked to Audi and my Mechanic to fix it all and they are quoting around 1500 to a lil over 2000 depending on what they see when they go to fix it since i couldnt give them the car to fix it.

Is it worth it to fix it or should i just trade it in and get something new. Im not gonna sell it since most ppl wont want to fix the stuff wrong with it and will wnat the maintence taken out of the price. I could get more on a trade in.

i say trade it in and get a b6.. try to get something that still has a warranty on it. since your car is most likely still in good shape mechanically, you could get a good deal w/ a low payment on a 02-03.. wut yr is ur car?

its a 1999, im convinced that these problems with the bumper are from this summer being over 90 and in most cases 100 every day.

I would love to just get a nice B6 CPO, but i dont think i can afford one. The ones im finding are like $22,000

i know wut you mean, i have the same problem w/ my front bumper..

just need to be on the lookout for a deal. if your not in too big of a hurry, just keep shopping til something falls in your price range, its bound to happen. you could prolly get 5500-6000 in a trade in, then finance the rest. even if you got the car for say 21000, with that trade in and finance would be 275-300 a month.. not too bad..

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! don't say that!!!! have you tried going and asking for financing?? if you dont have a bad credit history (you don't cuz ur only 18) i bet you could get a good deal..

if not then save up and fix the problems and keep your b5 til your out of school.

youll get raped on a trade in, especially with all the things that are wrong with it. i say spend the least amount possible to fix the little things and try a private sale.. on the other hand, if you dont want payments, suck it up and deal with what you got. maybe get a personal loan from dad and pay him back, that will be the least expensive approach i think.

i was thinking of getting a 2003 a4 FWD, i mean i dont really need AWD since im gonna be in so cal and AZ, and i could get one with like 40,000 for 15,500, or around there.

Will i have problems later with TQ steer if i put a Stage 3+ kit on it?
