would the new Premium octane effect my chip?

i have apr 93 oct chip, since our goverment it being cheap and mixing ethanol in to the gas, every gas stations premium gas is now 92 octane in nj(south). will it effect my cars performance or the motor?

Yeah, the higher the octane, the higher the performance, but between 93/92, I don't think the horsepower loss should be significant. Probably a total of 1-2.

boost will remain the same, you may lose the a deg or 2 of timing if anything

i know running the APR 93 program my engine isn't happy with 91, lucky i can still find 93 here in NH at a few stations, one of which is across the street from my office.

prob would have been better off going with the 91oct rather then the 100oct for my second program but oh well.
