Ok so I've gathered all my parts, and now I am just getting ready to order my chip & send out my ecu to get soldered.

I have a 01.5 quattro 1.8t and i bought the k04-015...

Should I go with the GIAC software or the APR (k03 sport software & upgrade to K04 when out)

I talked to both about it and APR said the K04 softwares close to production in a few months...
I think I already asked this question, but just figured id see what you guys think.

Anybody with a K04-015 & GIAC respond, and if some1 has the APR with K04-015 please respond.

 

th GIAC X+ or whatever it is is better than the APR chip. Plus GIAC works better with other upgrades.

 

apr doesnt make K04 software and i dont think they will, that would be like goin back wards i say GIAC

 

as of now apr doesnt, but they told me over the phone they have it in development and should be out within a couple months..

now whether or not apr was just saying that i dunno.

 

maybe but with GIAC becasue of the year of ur car u dont get the PC16 Upgrade with GIAC
so maybe u might take a gamble with APR because they might have a program that comes with injectors that will give nive numbers

 

apr told me as of now the k03 sport software they have if i run it with the k04 itll be fine, but ill be robbed of close to 20 hp until the k04 file comes out... which kinda sucks.
