Default taking one in the rear

well since i dont have an owners manual, or a sticker in the truck that tells me the code. i have to take it in the rear from the dealership and pay that oh so wonderful 50 to get my radio turned back on..on another note is it true that to put an aftermarket cd player or even a flip out dvd player in the a4 you need a tad bit of modification done to fit it in properly. i also heard that because i have the bose system, i need a special harness?? i clue on that one, so for now its thank you dealer may i have another..

It cost me the $46 as well... They'll have to take out your CD Player, E-Mail it to Audi, and wait... It took under a day with mine. You better Damn well believe that I have that code written down in more than one place, haha.

Heh, I was in the same boat, but when my car came in, the radio was working just fine. I guess they never disconnected the battery during shipping, I thought they were supposed to do that. Oh well, not my company, and the car got here in one piece. The owner before me taped the number to the front of the owner's manual. Smart place to put it if someone steals it, lol.

can't you just call AoA with your VIN and get the code?
