A write up in a diode for a a4 to the extent of the version in my sig. I have been getting plenty of pm's and posts in the TT thread and i was wondering if there is any real interest. You will need to have a map equiped car (00+) to be able to run this.

for those of us that don't understand what you just said... could you please put that in lamen terms

yes map'd cars only. Total cost is pending on the gauge and mbc you use. Can easily be done for under $100 and is stuff you will keep if you do upgrade or change to a chip.
Lamens Terms - a diode limits the voltage from the map sensor to the ecu. Limits the ecu to only seeing 11psi and lets the other o2 sensor and maf take care of the fueling for the extra air/psi.
Ill get some detailed photos like in the TT section.

Basically tricking the computer with radio shack parts to do a similar job as a chipbut much much cheaper. Can be fatal to the carif done wrong.

Then only thing that would hurt anything is if you try boosting 25psi or something stupid. I have been running it for a year+ and up to 20psi.

Its a risk, but some are willing to save the extra penny. I personally perferr the chip but i'd still love to see a write up to further understand what is exactly done. I mean I got the overall jist of it, but I'd like to see more in depth what you do.
