when i get my audi it was between my audi/evo/sti.... i drove all three, the evo dominated the sti in every aspect... the audi was way more luxurious and i knew i would have 10 grand to pour into it right awya

 

before some idiot woman wrecked my wrx by using is as a bumper when she decided to spontaneously turn in the middle of the road, it was a fun car. Loud...very loud at highway speeds but still fun. On the other hand the girls would rather ride in the audi...hmm...I'll take the audi

 

then you need to relearn how to drive because there isnt any tq steer. my tracks in a straight line every time.
i have a friend with a stock wrx with no exahust. i unbolted it just after a cat. they have about a million of them so i only removed one plus the muffler. and another friend of mine has a 99.5 a4 1.8tmq that has a giac chip. i will film them racing and we can settle this once and for all

 

why jeff? The evo is just the ultimate performace machine. It is just about perfect for rally, drag, autox and circuit racing. You can have a fast audi/vw, it has been done many times, but dollar for dollar, mod for mod the evo will kill both a4's and sti's.

But i think most here would like to have all the luxury that comes with the audi and still have a very worthy street competitor. You may not be able to dominate on the strip, but able to keep with an evo/wrx sti on the highway at speeds. That should be enough for most as they enjoy their bose system and leather.

that is about the only comparable race ej20 wrx vs a b5/6 a4. Both should be competive with simular upgrades. Talking about evo's and sti's is crazy talk.
