Ive been lookin at that one for weeks already bid on it once. Now its gonna go over my price range really pisses me off. Im a 17 year old kid who unlike most of you i dont make jack **** and my parents wont pay for any my car loving habit. All the money I get it from my car detailing business and Car Audio installation.
Audi is not the way to go for you. Sorry to state the facts, but if you dont make jack sh*t, its going to be costly to maintain an audi, yet alone this one that has been beat to sh*t.

Find a cheaper, low to no maintenance car, save the audi until after you get out of college and make decent money, or at least until you have a good paying job of some flavor.

Damn I wish I could do that but I gotta save for college too im just lookin for a fast car 130-150 cruisin on highway. To last me till I get a real job and get my s4 hhaha.
hmm, do i see a likeness between him and the ebay seller? =\
so your just gonna spend all that money for a "run around car" and completly thrash it, well this car is defently your car.
wow, your 17 and already worried about college fee's, what has this world come to, soz dude but thats pretty pathetic, at 17 college fees shouldnt even cross your mind.
You don't worry about college fees either apparently? WTF are you saying?

Without sounding like an old man, it is never too early to worry about college money or retirement money. It is money much better spent than on a stupid car. Go buy a darn Civic for college. You don't need a pimp ride in college. There are chicks freakin everywhere. They don't care if you have a car or if you live with your parents during the summer. Just keep the fridge stocked with beer and stuff for the girls to drink (vodka, crandberry juice etc). Get an Audi when you can afford one for real, not scape all your money together just to try to make the payments and pay for the maintenance.

If you do over 100 with any regularity, you won't be driving for very long, so don't sell that bike to help pay for the car.

REgarding the car shown to me by A4 Effort. The lady finally emailed me back after like a week and heres what she said about the car:
http://newjersey.craigslist.org/pts/335070259.html

yes it does have 172,000 miles. The interior is the vinyl leatherette. It is beige & black. i have had the timing belt replaced twice & have followed all the recommended maintenance guidelines for the vehicle. I have also replaced the wheel bearings in the back 2 wheels & also the front passenger tie rods. also have used synthetic oil for oil changes every 5,000 miles. 201-874-4975

What do you all think about that car?

Haha that is the best advice I have heard in awhile. I got that from my sailing coach 2 years ago and have been savin ever since problem is I keep spendin it and my rents take it away. Its disappointing. I cant bring myself to buy a civic theyre pieces of ****, sorry. Especially for 4k. If I went civic itd be like an 06 Si and id finance it thatd be worth it.

haha you said it yourself "life is too short to drive bad cars"
LOL, you got me there.....

But honestly, you want to set yourself up so that you can drive great cars for most of your life. Sometimes a little sacrifice goes a long way if your doing it to get yourself ahead. Then the payoff will be much bigger, and you'll appreciate what you have worked for.
I just wouldn't want to see you struggle to pay for a car that you cant afford, and that is likely to need a fair amount of repairs to it, instead of trying to get yourself ahead.

Im 38, and this is my first audi. I also have a 300zx, and a ford expy, and a nice family. But I worked very hard to get where I am at, and never had anything but beater cars up until about 10 years ago. It was definitely worth the wait.

Regardless of your choice, good luck to you. Audis are great cars. If you do decide to buy one, take extreme effort and patience to find a good one with good records, so at least in the long run it wont drive you into the ground financially.

A big turbo car that's been neglected... Hrmm...
And YES, it has been neglected. Any Audi owner should know better than to wait 80k miles to change their timing belt. God knows what else he's neglected on the car.
I wouldn't buy that thing for any more than it's worth for parts. I'd never buy it with the intention of driving it. It's ugly as sin.
