WTF is a K05
I dont know if any of you have heard of this but apparently theres a K05 turbo out there. is it true, what so good about or bad that people should take it over or neglect it compared to the good ol K04

back in the day Neuspeed made a turbo kit they called the E05 which suppose to be the k05
its was shietty turbo that had alot of problems

here's the skinny.
The E05 was made to be a direct replacementfor transverse engines with a ko3(s) and flow the equivalent of a k04-2x out of a 225tt. the downfall was the shaft on the turbo was to thin and it snapped when you tried to boost it at higher boost levels (around 20psi). Most chip tuners limited the boost to 18psi and people still blew the turbos. They just reciently came out with the E05b which is suppose to have a revised shaft but still not a popular upgrade.
