Yea you cant realy tell much from the pic. But i can kinda make where it goes to. Looks like only 1/2 a litre extra. Wont do any instant damage but if there is any weak spots in any of the seals it could cause it to leak. Just do a service soon and make sure its at the right level.

You can't really just an oil by how it looks except in the case of water contamination. Just because its black doesn't mean anything, the heat of the engine will discolor it anyway.

If you are running lean like your plugs are saying, then it would make sense the oil is darker because it is running hotter. If you are really worried about the oil level between now any your next oil change, then just release the drain plug and count to about 4 seconds per quarter quart.

Hmmm.... I guess I am ok then!

Not rich then, well I still don't understand my bad gas mileage. I guess I will drive a few more tanks with the chipping and maybe it will go up.

Has anyone ever cleaned their air intake temperature sensor before? I am looking in my bently manual and I can't even find the location of it. I would like to see if it is covered with oil or something. Can anyone help me out?

OK sweet I have been trying to find that thing forever!

What do I clean it with? Rubbing alcohol?

Ok so I just got around to looking at mine on my car. So I am supposed to take the allen bolt out and the sensor is inside? And then use rubbing alchohol to clean it?
