Default xenons...pics /advice?

Im looking to get some xenon bulbs for my regulars and fogs for my 2000 a4 1.8t. I want something with a light blue feel, not super crazy HID brightness, not quite purple. Does anyone have advice on bulbs like this, hopefully some that are the same color andbrightness on the fogs and regulars. Anyone got something like this? pics? links?

sounds like you want 6500k.... its got a nice blue tint without sacrificing much light output.

The higher the number, the worse the lighting gets.

check out www.vvme.com thats where most people on here have gotten theres and they end up looking really nice.

i currently have 5000k silverstars, their realy good but dont have the blue tint.
ive been looking on ebay for some, around $15 on there, and theres some on there thats like 8500k. i didnt realize the higher the heat the less light output.
but im looking for some aswell that has the blue tint and use my ST's on my main/high beams, without buying the ballasts.
by the way, ateurv8, vvme.com dosnt wanna work for me.

From the way you describe it, you should get 8000k. I personally have 6000k because they are light blue, but still put out lots of light. 8000k are very blue and its a good way to go if you don't care about losing a small amount of brightness for good color.

thanks guys. I didnt know the higher the number the worse the actual light.
Yeah that VVME thing doesnt work for me either. Is there a site somewhere (that works) that has some FAQs on this, and some good bulbs for us?
